Of the seven concrete contractors I called for foundation addition proposal, only Affordable Concrete returned the call, and promptly. Brad Bishop, the owner, had specific follow through options (next meeting,), to which he, then, faithfully complied; courteously, exactly, knowledgeably. My job inquiries were unusual. Mr. Bishop discussed the options and ramifications from the contractor's perspective and then from considering my parameters. He did so with respect, with wisdom from extensive experience. We came up with a practical plan for the immediate future based on the company's standard modus operandi and my long term parameters. Brad Bishop is articulate, intelligent, insightful, and most importantly, dependable, prompt, practical. He returns all phone calls. So, to me, before we even met, he was the only candidate who I should hire as my contractor. With that kind of start, even if everything were to go wrong (horrid weather, horrid health emergencies, material acquisition issues etc), he will address them with me promptly, respectfully, and candidly. Sounds like a dream contractor.

I called Affordable Concrete on a Monday morning. My call was returned shortly thereafter. They came to my house by end of day, and provided me a bid on that Monday. I needed the work done right away. I called them that night to tell them I wanted them to do the work. They were at my house by the time quoted on Wednesday. They did a phenomenal job!! They really knew what they were talking about, and the work was impeccable. I would highly recommend that if you need concrete work done, you call Affordable Concrete and talk with Brad Bishop!! I can't tell you how many services I've had done from businesses in Rochester over a 13 year timespan, and would only recommend 2 of those businesses to others. Affordable concrete is one of those businesses.

Brad responded quickly to my request for an estimate. 2 days later they did the entire job in one day. They replaced the old broken drive way from the street to the garage and they removed the useless side walk to from the street to the side of the house, with a winding sidewalk from the driveway to the house. Everything was done quickly, affordably and professionally. I plan to use them again very soon.

The need was obvious and pressure was building from the "better half" to do something. I had an estimate from another company but we were not happy either with the price or the person, so ... The "better half" explored Angie's List and saw good reports for Affordable Concrete so we called. Our call was returned that evening, and the owner (Brad Bishop) came over quickly to estimate the job. His price was $1000 less than our first estimate, and he was a delight to talk to. We accepted his bid immediately. He said he would be able to start "in a couple weeks." And two weeks later, he did,and he was there to supervise his crew. At the end of the first day, the steps, sidewalk, and driveway pad were gone, and the new steps were poured. The next day, the sidewalk and driveway pad were poured, and the exposed aggregate process was completed. A few days later (after some rainy days), Brad returned to do the sealing, and it was clear that he was a perfectionist. We would definitely recommend Affordable Concrete.

I called Affordable Concrete for an estimate and Brad, the owner, came out the same day. Within two hours I had an estimate. Brad was very professional. He calmed my fears of a giant sink hole being under my driveway (which two other contractors fed into) and addressed the water issue. He answered all my questions and gave his opinion on how to fix our problems. We decided to go with Affordable concrete, not because they were the least exspensive (because they were right in the middle price wise), but because they had the best solution and product to offer us. They called the day before they would arrive and in two days they had ripped out the old, regraded the driveway and poured a new one. I was home for the entire process, and I can honestly say that these guys really take pride in their jobs. The driveway is gorgeous, Brad spent plenty of time making sure everything was perfect. The crew was respectful and efficient and the landscaping around the work look like it did before they came out. Once they were finished we were given care instructions and a sincere invitiation to call them with any questions or concerns. Brad even talked with my husband about ideas for some drain tile. We never felt once like our questions were a bother or we were getting in their way. These guys are fabulous. It is refreshing to see someone take such pride in the work that they do. I would use them again in a heartbeat, but since I'm sure my driveway will be great for years to come, I hope you will use them.

Their price was very reasonable even on the low end. The service was actually excellent. The driveway looks great. They cleaned up perfect. The only reason we knew it was done was because we had a good looking driveway again. They put the side back where they cut it. They put the rocks back where the bushes were. The clean-up was almost like a landscaping service. They did a perfect job. The guy explained everything. He did not push. We had certain sections that were broken. He gave us a price just to fix those and he gave us a price to fix the whole thing, and he gave us the choice. He came out within 5 minutes of when he said he was going to be here. They were just great. The color is a little bit different because it is 18 years different. I thought they did a great job. They did a section for the sidewalk too. The way the bushes are, you really don't notice it that much. They did as good a job considering the difference in the years. He said that in a couple of years it might blend a little bit more. It actually looks very nice. We were expecting the price to be a lot higher. A lot of the other people we contacted didn't even call us back. This guy was really nice. We would absolutely use them again in the future.

Brad and his crew showed up when they said they would. The end result looked great, The estimate price was the final price. We were very happy with the project and Affordable Concrete.
